Angela (the owner) is an absolute gem! I’ve shopped here for a couple of years now and am consistently impressed with the selection MARNē offers. I feel like it’s hard to find elevated pieces that are trendy but still classic/timeless and MARNē does that so well! I also appreciate MARNē’s emphasis on sustainable fashion.

Shopping at Marne is an exceptional experience. Staff are beyond helpful, accommodating, and honest about fits. The selection of goods are socially and environmentally conscious. Everything I've purchased at Marne makes me feel confident and cute. Marne's social media presence is a plus, too - very communicative and excellent at keeping shop lovers in the know. MARNē is a brilliant little shop in Des Moines’ East Village. Tucked between restaurants, coffee, music venues and the best clothing boutiques in the entire city. The owner thoughtfully curates a collection of responsible, sustainable, and cutting edge brands. Word is there’s also a really kind of amazing pop-up shop in the back too with premium vintage items from all over the World!

Angela has created such a special place in Des Moines. Every time I go in, I feel like I have my own personal shopper helping me look and feel my best! The brands she carries are high quality and staple pieces I will have forever.

I have been a long time customer for about five years and most all my clothes come from Marne. I have slowly phased out fast fashion and throw away clothes and exchanged them for life long, ethical, beautiful garments. I love Angela (the shop owner). At this point she knows me. I have no idea how she keeps everyone straight but she always knows what will fit and what won’t. I am 12-14 regular and I fit in her clothes! I always feel celebrated and cared for. It’s one of those store I feel comfortable coming out of the fitting room and looking in the big mirror.
